Piano/Theory Instructor
Chung-Hsi Hsieh
Chung-Hsi Hsieh is an award-winning pianist, having earned top prizes in international competitions. He has appeared as a Young Artist at prestigious festivals like Gilmore and Kneisel Hall, and holds degrees from Juilliard and Rutgers. Currently, he serves on the faculty of international music festivals and is Music Director of the Star! Chamber Orchestra.

Percussion/Piano Instructor
Chia-lin Yu
Chia-Lin Yu is a Taiwan-born percussionist and educator based in NYC, known for her dynamic performances across the U.S., Europe, and Asia. She has performed as a soloist, orchestral and pit musician, and chamber artist with groups like Sandbox Percussion and the Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra. A graduate of Indiana University, she brings storytelling and emotion to her music, captivating audiences worldwide.

Violin/Viola/Piano Instructor
Isadora Chiang
Isadora Chiang, a Taiwanese violinist with Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Mannes School of Music, began her classical training in violin and piano at age five. In 2019, she transitioned to pop music, honing skills in composition, production, performance, and audio engineering.

Saxophone/Clarinet Instructor
David Truilo
David Truilo is a versatile multi-instrumentalist, composer, and educator from Daytona Beach, Florida. He began playing the clarinet at age 11 and later expanded his skills to include the saxophone and flute. David moved to New York City to pursue a bachelor’s degree in jazz saxophone at The New School, where he studied with John Ellis, Myron Walden, and Aaron Goldberg. He now performs regularly in New York City and Europe, with a recent performance at the Copenhagen Jazz Festival.

Kayla Wong
Kayla Wong is a pianist born and raised in New York City. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Developmental Psychology with a minor in Piano Performance from Nyack College. Kayla has served as a church music director, combining her musical talent with leadership experience.

Siyuan Zhang
Siyuan, a doctoral piano student at the University of Arizona with a background in physics and music, is an award-winning performer and passionate educator known for his innovative, student-centered teaching approach.

Guitar Instructor
Tomoya Ogawa
Tomoya Ogawa is a versatile guitarist, composer, and producer based in NYC, known for his work across jazz, rock, R&B, Latin, and more. He has performed at top venues like Rockwood Music Hall and The Bitter End, and at festivals in the U.S. and Japan. A Berklee graduate, he leads the TOMOYA OGAWA Project and plays with multiple groups while regularly performing in Astoria, NY.

Violin/Piano Instructor
Wei-chun Chen
Wei-Chun Chen began piano at 6 and violin at 14 in Taiwan. She studied violin in Taiwan, Japan, and the U.S. with renowned teachers. Now in NYC, she performs and teaches; her students succeed in festivals and auditions

Guitar Instructor
William Hsieh
William has been a guitar instructor at Song of Songs since 2009. With a playing style deeply rooted in blues and rock, he brings both passion and precision to his teaching. Beyond the classroom, William is an award-winning audio post-production engineer with an impressive portfolio of work on numerous films​

Percussion/Piano Instructor
Yuko Yamada
Yuko Togami is a drummer and composer from Saitama, Japan, now based in New York City. A graduate of City College of New York, she has performed internationally at venues like Blue Note NYC and Sunset Sunside Paris. She leads her own projects, collaborates widely, and released her award-winning debut album Dawn in 2018.
