About Us
Our Story
​​​Since 1986, Song of Songs has educated and trained many musicians as well as many students who have gone on to pursue other endeavors. For our younger students, we strive to develop their skills, musically and academically in hopes of building their credentials as future college applicants. To this end, we began providing academic and educational resources to our students and community in hopes of fostering greater learning.
ABRSM was soon introduced to our students in hopes of establishing a high standard and benchmark for them to follow. Many of our students that continued on to pursue careers in music also obtained their advanced diplomas from ABRSM to further establish themselves in the industry. In addition to our school and exams, Song of Songs also provides a retail bookstore for music prints by Hal Leonard, Alfred, Bastien, Barenreiter, Peters, Carl Fischer and many of the other major music publishers.

​Our main facility now contains over 5,000 sq ft located in the safe neighborhood of Auburndale in the heart of Fresh Meadows, NY. It includes more than 20 classrooms, which are used everyday to make music for the community.
Our Showroom
Song of Songs retail operations began as a necessary extension of our growing school. We began providing pre-owned Japanese pianos due to their popular demand with our students in 1990 and have continued to this day. As our students advanced, we've expanded our inventory to include Steinway, Yamaha, and Kawai grand pianos as well as digital pianos to accommodate the modern student.

​With the success of our school, higher quality brands of wind instruments were needed and Sonare Powell, Yamaha, and Buffet were added to the lines we carried.
​
​​To round out our string collection we added the Yamaha acoustic string line in addition with the Serafini violins.
